Buttercup is a dainty little kitty with a very sweet disposition. She loves pets and attention and will follow you around for more, since she never can get enough. She's so incredibly cute, with her big, round eyes and wide, kitten-like face, so that when she gazes at you, it's hard not to melt -- which is exactly what she wants! Buttercup can come off a little tentative or shy at first, but she's actually like a velcro cat once she gets to know you. And she's gradually learning the joy of lap-time and being picked up for cuddles. Apparently, her former family, although they were obviously kind to her, since she's trusting and good natured, they don't seem to have held her too often. So her foster mom is teaching her the joy of cuddles, and she's quickly becoming convinced that it's pretty wonderful! She gets chirpy, too, when she's excited and happy, and it's so endearing. Buttercup will make someone a wonderful cat companion. She probably should be in a calm, quiet environment, since she's a tiny bit skittish. But she'll become your best friend if you let her. She actually has a kitty friend named Rosalie (KRLA-A-7021), and they get along great. But although they're extremely comfortable together, their foster doesn't believe that they're too bonded to be separated. Buttercup gets along well with all cats, though, so if not Rosalie, it would be nice (but not essential) for her to have a cat buddy.
