This lovable oddball of a cat was rescued at the end of 2023 with his brother and sister, who have since been adopted. Cheese was bottle raised and so is incredibly friendly and social - whenever anyone comes to the house, he's front and center to greet them, rubbing against their legs and prancing around like a little weirdo. Cheese's idiosyncracies include being a word class splooter, flopping on his back and rolling around while maintaining eye contact, and zooming around at a thousand miles per hour. But he's also a really dedicated lap cat, and loves nothing more than cuddling up in the evening. We all know that it's common to give cats nicknames, and sometimes you might call them by their nickname so often it ends up replacing their actual name and they respond to it more actively. Is this the case with Cheese, and is his nickname and the name he responds to "Stinky Cheese"? Why yes it is. Don't blame his foster parents, he really is a little stinker. But he's a stinker who is so endearing he will leave an indelible mark on your heart and be an absolute joy in your home. After his siblings were adopted, Stinky Cheese was very forlorn for a few days, but then his foster parents brought home a kitten named Herbie and the two of them bonded like brothers from another mother. They play, cuddle, zoom, wrestle and sleep together constantly, and really should be adopted as a pair. If you're interested in learning more or in meeting Stinky Cheese and Herbie, drop a line to his foster dad at ben@kittenrescue.org.
