Ziggy is a handsome boy with a beautiful, plush grey coat that practically invites you to pet him - and once you earn his trust, he truly enjoys the attention. He’s a relaxed, easygoing boy who loves long naps snuggled beside his foster siblings. One of his favorite ways to spend the afternoon is lounging in the cat tree by the window, watching birds and squirrels outside. Ziggy also has a playful side and enjoys chasing feather wands, laser pointers, and batting around catnip toys. Ziggy gets along very well with other cats and tends to make feline friends easily. However, he is very shy with new people and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. Ziggy will do best starting out in a small, quiet room such as a bathroom or home office where he cannot hide under large furniture. This allows his new family to spend time gently petting him, talking to him, and helping him feel safe while he settles into his new home. Once Ziggy learns that he can trust you, he blossoms into a sweet and affectionate companion. Ziggy thrives in the company of other cats and would not be happy as a single pet. He should be adopted with another cat or into a home that already has a friendly feline companion.
