Bennie and his sister Rosie KRLA-A-2875 are a sweet, bonded pair who balance each other perfectly. They may start off shy and cautious, but once they feel safe, their personalities really shine! Bennie is the social butterfly of the pair who thrives on quality human interactions. He is outgoing, playful, and loves to be the center of attention with both humans he knows and humans he is meeting for the first time. Once he is settled in and feels safe in his environment he will be your faithful companion - always staying close to you while waiting for the perfect moment to roll over onto his back and give you his best goofy grin in hopes that you will indulge him in a thorough belly rub session. Bennie loves a good physical and mental challenge when it comes to playtime. The ‘thrill of the hunt’ is his favorite part so he would love for you to engage him with wand toys that he has to run across the room or jump up in the air to catch. Bennie’s kitten-like energy and enthusiasm for playtime with toys is equally matched by his love of hunting for tasty treats. This intelligent boy loves the mental challenge of solving digger puzzles, or just simply having tasty treats hidden around the house for him to have to sniff out and find. Bennie can be sensitive to changes in his environment, but with the help and assurance of Rosie he is able to overcome his fear of strange new places and he will courageously follow her lead in exploring new uncharted territories and sniffing out new unfamiliar objects. Bennie and Rosie would fit in perfectly in a home with other cats, but do need space and time to adjust. They prefer to avoid confrontation and will retreat if overwhelmed, making them a great fit for a calm, cat-savvy household. They could live with a calm, cat-friendly dog—ideally medium-sized or smaller—and would do best in a quieter home with older children who understand how to give shy cats the time and space they need to thrive. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pair who will reward your patience with trust, affection, and playful moments, Bennie and Rosie are waiting to meet you!
