Lion is a petite girl weighing only about 5 and half pounds, with a sweet, gentle personality and a quiet confidence that grows as she learns to trust people again. She has incredibly soft, silky fur and absolutely loves being brushed, making grooming a special bonding time with her favorite person. She is shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, her affectionate side comes out—always on her terms. Lion especially loves her morning routine. She wakes you by climbing onto your chest, settling in for a good purr, and enjoying some quiet affection. Later in the day, she becomes much more independent. She enjoys being near her person but is also perfectly content on her own, happily soaking up the sunshine or relaxing in her favorite cave on a high shelf where she can keep an eye on everything happening around her. Lion loves following her person into the kitchen, where she rolls around and rubs her head against their legs. She is also quite the little talker and has plenty to say! When she is in the mood to play, her favorite game is chasing a long piece of yarn tied to a toy as it moves around the room. She is calm and easygoing with occasional zoomies to keep things interesting. Lion is remarkably gentle and has never swatted or hissed. She appreciates having her own space and likes cozy, protected spots such as caves and bowl beds. She may hide briefly when a stranger arrives, but she adjusts quickly and soon comes out to investigate. Lion would thrive in a quiet, calm home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. She previously lived with a brother and is comfortable around other cats.
