Vincent is a sensitive soul who has been through a difficult time. After being treated for an injury in the past, he is now recovered, but he remains very scared and unsure of his surroundings. At the moment, Vincent may hiss, retreat, or react defensively when he feels frightened or uncomfortable. While he has been known to be friendly and tame in the past, he is not showing that side of himself right now. Vincent will need a patient adopter who understands that trust can take time. His behavior may be unpredictable, so he needs someone willing to give him plenty of space, move at his pace, and never pressure him into interactions. A calm, quiet environment and a gentle approach may help him gradually feel safe and secure. Vincent has shown before that he can be a sweet and trusting cat.
