Handsome… check. Sociable… check. Exotic… check! Well, alright I am not an exotic breed but I am originally from Istanbul, and I truly look like a tiny panther with my shiny black fur and golden-amber eyes. Now that makes me relatively exotic, wouldn’t you say? My name is Leo and I am a super affectionate, outgoing and gorgeous boy who provides tons of love and entertainment to his humans. I love love love getting petted. I don't hold back when I want my pettings: I'll sit next to you, get on your lap and purr loudly to show you my appreciation. At bedtime, I like to sleep next to you or on you. Some describe me as a dog-like cat. At times, I also enjoy laying right next to your laptop to supervise your work. I would be a good fit for your household if you are looking for a confident kitty with an amazing personality. I am very playful and energetic. I play with my toys and my kitty friends. I am a master of kitty soccer and chasing cat wands. I also really enjoy cuddling with my kitty friends and humans. I was living as a tiny kitten on the streets of Halic neighborhood in Istanbul. I was so lucky; an animal-lover saw that as a lonely kitten I wouldn't last long on the streets and rescued me. She wasn't allowed to care for me at her place, so she got me to a rescuer in Istanbul, who happens to be multi-continental. That rescuer flew me to Los Angeles. and got me into Kitten Rescue. Now that I am in the land of opportunity, I hope my luck continues and I can find a purrever loving home. You may notice in my photos that I have a shorter than usual tail. When I was rescued, that was already the case. They don't know if my tail was cut accidentally, or someone did it on purpose or if it is a birth-defect. In any case it doesn't have any negative impact on my health or mobility. Anything any cat can do, I can do better! Did I tell you I am Mr. Confident?
