Gray (affectionately known as Mr. Earl Grey) is a sweet, playful boy with a plush gray coat. While still a bit reserved with new people, once he warms up to you, he absolutely melts in your hand or lap once receiving pets or scratches. He enjoys the company of other cats but we think he could also do well as a solo cat with the right amount of attention. The way to this boy's heart is through his stomach. When he’s not gleefully slurping Churu treats, he can often be found warming himself in the perfect patch of sunlight on the windowsill. Gray came to KR after being found in the streets with two fractured legs and spent two months on bedrest. After an initial period of extreme shyness, he has dramatically warmed up to the company of humans and felines alike. He has fully recovered from his prior injuries and has no medical issues. We are working every day to continue socializing Gray and get him further used to human handling. He would be ideal for someone looking for a quiet, affectionate companion to spend time with. Gray may need a little time to acclimate to new environments, but is still very curious, and we enjoy watching him explore new spaces.
