Nico was found in a back alley, but it quickly became clear he was never meant to live on the streets. Once rescued, Nico received full veterinary care, including complete blood work and a professional dental cleaning, so his new family won’t have to worry about those costly procedures. He’s now a healthy, happy boy ready to bring love to his forever home. Nico is extremely affectionate and deeply human-oriented. He adores attention and seeks out physical closeness - he’s the kind of cat who wants to be near you, not just in the same room. Playful and curious, Nico also has a fun quirk: he loves being up high. Cat trees, window perches, or bookshelves will instantly become his favorite hangouts. He’s very food-motivated, which makes any treatment or medication simple - just wrap it in chicken, and Nico’s all in. He enjoys playing, lounging belly-up, and napping in soft cozy spots. Nico gets along beautifully with other cats and would thrive in a home where he has a feline friend or even children to dote on him. His experience with dogs is unknown, but his gentle, easygoing personality suggests he’d adapt well to most calm environments. Nico is FIV-positive but lives peacefully with an FIV-negative cat, showing that with good care and love, FIV+ cats can lead full, healthy, and happy lives.
