Backpack is the ultimate lap cat. He's a softie at heart who wants endless cuddles. Usually you'll find him chilling by an open window, but if you sit down on the couch he'll run across the room and jump up to your lap. Backpack is happiest as an only cat-- he wants to be king of the castle and receive your undivided attention. He still has his guard up from his time living outside, so he needs a quiet home and an experienced cat owner. He loves people, but he's easily startled and can be reactive. He also has mild chronic health issues which are being managed with diet and medication. Underneath it all though, he's a total marshmallow.
