Mickey is a talkative orange boy with a strong personality and a clear love for human attention. He’s the kind of cat who will happily carry on a conversation with you throughout the day, offering commentary on everything you do. If you’re looking for a quiet, independent cat, Mickey is not that—but if you enjoy a constant companion who wants to be involved in your routine, he may be a great fit. He is very affectionate and has been known to climb onto people’s shoulders to stay close. Mickey thrives on interaction and will need a home where he can get plenty of attention and companionship. He’s confident, outgoing, and social with people, especially once he feels comfortable. Mickey does have some specific needs. He requires a special diet due to food allergies, so his adopter should be prepared to maintain that consistently. He also prefers to be the only animal in the home, as he does not get along well with other pets. Because of his temperament and need for a calm, predictable environment, he would do best in an adult-only household.
