Handsome Hawk (KRLA-A-86444) had a heartbreaking start to life. He and his three siblings were rescued from a dangerous demolition site in a rough area of Panorama City. Determined to give them a chance at a better life, their foster mom worked tirelessly to bring them to safety and gave each kitten a bird name to symbolize the freedom they deserved after escaping such a difficult beginning. Of the four kittens rescued from the site, Hawk had one of the hardest times learning to trust people. After experiencing the trauma of life on the streets, frightening encounters with humans, and the loss of his mother, he was understandably fearful. Through months of patient, gentle socialization, Hawk has blossomed into an incredibly loving and affectionate young cat. After taking some time to come out of his shell, Hawk has surprised everyone with his sweet personality and gentle heart. He absolutely loves being held and will happily run over to greet you, rub against your legs, and even return your kisses. Watching him transform from a frightened kitten into a loving companion has been nothing short of amazing. As his confidence continues to grow, Hawk is embracing everything kittenhood has to offer—playing, exploring, and learning that people can be trusted. He is looking for a patient family who will continue to nurture his confidence and give him the love he has always deserved.
