Don’t let the number fool you—Fred may be a senior at 14 years old, but he’s still full of love and personality. Fred came to Kitten Rescue after being surrendered to the shelter. It’s tough for older cats in that environment, and his time was running out, but KR swooped in and gave him a second chance. After a much-needed dental, Fred moved into a foster home with three other cats and quickly made himself at home. Fred is first into the kitchen for breakfast and dinner, and he’s always the first to claim his spot on the bed at night. He has a funny little trill when he wants your attention, perfect litter box manners, and a big love for his wet food. Despite his age, Fred still has plenty of spunk—he gets the zoomies at least once a day and keeps his foster family entertained with his playful spirit. Fred is looking for a forever home where he can spend his golden years enjoying cozy naps and showing off his quirky personality. He loves spending quiet afternoons laying on the bed, soaking up the sunshine. He is spry but does enjoy his quiet time too making him a great companion for someone who appreciates peaceful moments together.
