Rose is a very friendly girl who is always the first one to greet you at the door. She has a deep-throated meow and can be chatty especially first thing in the morning or at bedtime – she loves cuddles in the bed! Now past the very young kitten stage, Rose and her sister Violet are still quite silly, playful, and mischievous, but have (thankfully) given up their destructive inclinations in favor of more adult pursuits, like cuddles! Rose and Violet are “bottle babies” which means they were bottle fed as tiny baby kittens. Like most bottle babies, they strongly suspect that they will be turning into humans any day now and carefully study us so that they will be prepared. They want to be very “involved” in our human activities, especially activities that involve opening cupboard doors (ANYTHING could be in there!) or getting things out of closets (it’s like a whole extra room in there!). They are also very interested in “training” and have been easy to teach to “sit.” Rose’s most sincere desire is to be adopted with her sister Violet, KRLA-A-86000, into a home where she can sleep with a human all night long and then cuddle with her sister during the day. She and her sister are both great with kids, but Rose in particular really loves children. They both long to become someone’s special cat that they can bond with and adore. Both Rose and Violet have a normal amount of caution with new cats, but quickly adjust and have been really terrific with a wide range of ages and personalities. They are respectful of other cats while continuing to offer play opportunities. They would be a great addition to a home with an older cat who likes the *idea* of other cats being around, but is maybe uncertain about how much they want to interact with them. These two are really the perfect age to be adopted into a home with kids. They are big enough to not get accidentally lost or stepped on, old enough to no longer have the urge to chew the hands off the Barbie dolls, wise enough to know when the kid energy is runny high and that they ought to make themselves scarce, and still young enough to be very active and interested in playing.
