Glimmer is a beautiful boy who would be perfect in a home with a small dog, one or two other cats. He doesn't mind noise and chaos but he would live his best life in a home with you where there is not a lot of other animals. He is a bit chunky with soft smooth fur. He would take a week or so to acclimate to your home and may hide for a few days; he is not a plug and play cat. When he was an older kitten a KR foster saved him from a company that leaves outside cats to starve. He was hissy for months as a kitten and his foster mom spent a lot of time showing him love and getting to the point he would allow pets and give purrs as rewards. He puts his paws in his dry food while he eats, copying an endearing trait of the blind resident cat. He will love to sit next to you for cuddles and pets but is not a fan of being picked up or held for too long. His foster mom adores him but knows he would thrive in a home with less cats. His name is Glimmer because when he first started to play with his feather toy, his foster mom saw a 'Glimmer' of hope he could be a great pet. He is also an FIP survivor but it was caught early and treated with no lasting effects. Glimmer needs a special adopter that has the love and patience to let him get used to his new environment until he becomes the shining star he was meant to be.
