Gracie and her sister Monroe KRLA-A-85288 were rescued from a mobile home park in Bakersfield, where they and their kittens were in desperate need of help. The park owner sold the land, forcing residents—including these sweet cats—out with nowhere to go. Unspayed and unneutered, they faced an uncertain and dangerous future. Thankfully, kindhearted people who had been feeding them sought a rescue, and Kitten Rescue volunteers stepped up. Initially, we planned to take only the kittens due to space and cost limitations, but we couldn’t bear to leave the mama cats behind. In the end, all six cats were welcomed into foster care! Gracie is a shy girl, but with time and patience, she warms up. She has an adorable little "kangaroo pouch" where she loves to snuggle in and relax. While she may be reserved, she never misses a meal! She is very bonded with her sister Monroe, who is her opposite—outgoing and confident. Together, they are the perfect yin and yang, making an irresistibly sweet pair. Gracie and Monroe must be adopted together.
