Meet Thomas, the biggest of the litter and the perfect combination of Techno Viking energy and Thomas the Tank Engine determination. He’s very comfortable being his Zen-like self and dancing like nobody’s watching. He doesn’t tolerate any boundary-crossing from his siblings, and he’s not afraid to lay down the law. We find it hilarious that he tends to be late for dinner, but when he does show up to eat, his siblings have learned: Don’t get between Thomas and his food. However, don’t let his tough exterior fool you, Thomas is also a big softie. He’ll accept a belly rub when he’s relaxed, and when he purrs, it’s a deep, rumbly vibration of pure joy and healing energy. When he hops up onto your chest at 6 AM, you might think, “Gaghhhh, no, Thomas…”—but then that deep, rumbly purr starts up, and suddenly, it’s impossible to be annoyed because he’s giving you his love and that wonderful Zen energy. He’s got a curiosity that’ll keep him engaged with whatever’s going on, especially if a wand toy or a faucet is involved. He goes allllll in when you play with him using a wand toy, and the best description we have is that he becomes a furnado. As far as the faucet fascination, you might find him staring with the intensity of Rodin’s The Thinker and trying to “catch” the water with his paws (or the top of his head) because, in his mind, he’s this close to figuring out the mystery of the universe contained within the faucet. If you’re looking for a kitten with a big but grounded presence, a love for interactive or water-based entertainment, and the ability to make your house feel like a home, Thomas is the one. As is the case with any lone kitten, if you don’t have someone at home for long periods of time, (s)he’s going to get bored and will “redecorate” your home. This kitty is happiest and best served with a side of sibling, twice the love and fun, and possibly a few less shredded rolls of toilet paper!
