Will

Will must be adopted with his sister, Harper. They are both semi-feral and may have a hard time without each other. Their adopter must be a seasoned cat lover who understands cat behavior to give them the time and space to allow them to warm up to you.

Will is a handsome gray tabby. He is energetic and active. Will and his sister, Harper, are deemed “semi-feral” because humans can’t initiate physical contact with them (at least without food or toys). They will tolerate some petting when they are eating or getting treats.  Other times, if a finger or hand is held out steadily and quietly, they will sniff or nose touch when they are in the mood.  Neither Will nor Harper will growl, hiss or swat unless they are cornered. They actually will lounge openly on your bed, cat tree or furniture and watch you intently as you come in to their view. Sometimes at night they will even quietly snuggle up on one corner of the bed with you. When Will is hungry or the meal is served late, he’ll run circle around you and meow loudly.

Both Will and Harper are very food and play driven. If their adopter is willing to put in the time and effort, Will and Harper will definitely bond with you. They may not become lap cats but it’ll be highly rewarding when you see the trust they develop in you.
