Octavio

A lovely gentleman in LA begged me to help him save Octavio. He was feeding Octavio in his colony. He even had him neutered! The problem is that suddenly Octavio became skin and bones. I finally had an open space and took him into foster care with Kitten Rescue.

Octavio is a happy, kind, funny boy. He’s chatty and wants affection. My favorite thing is when he rolls on his back and rubs his face and ears. He’s super adorable with a bit of a goofy smile.

When I got Octavio, I noticed that his fur was rough and that he’s very skinny. Perhaps he just wasn’t getting the best food. I asked my vet to run blood work and fecal. We found out that he was suffering from Giardia and had high thyroid blood work. Luckily I started him on meds for the Giardia and within a week, he looked so much better and already gained a pound! However, the thyroid issue has not yet been resolved, though we are working on it!\

If you’d love a goofy, sweet, man cat, but are also able to work with us to get his thyroid condition sorted, I hope you will consider him! We can discuss during the interview process. This is a really great cat who cannot wait to be adored. Thank you for considering Octavio!
