Thelma is a very pretty orange tabby female, which makes her very special, since most orange tabbies are male. Thelma knows that looks aren't everything, so she makes sure she is an excellent roommate. She is very good about using the litter box and is tidy and courteous. While she does have a playful and sweet nature, Louise is very shy and will take some loving patience before she trusts a new person. Once she gets to know you, she will happily accept pets (especially while she is eating. Thelma loves a good meal and snacks!) Thelma will also jump on the couch or bed with you and enjoy a good snuggle session. Her and her sister (Louise KRLA-A-8506) have been through a lot together, and would love to stay together. A kind person intercepted them while they were being dropped off at a high-kill shelter. Taken from their mom, their first introduction to humans was pretty scary, and they likely would not have done well there. After some time with a kind foster, the girls' true personalities have started to emerge. Thelma loves to play, while Louise will watch and observe- waiting for her turn at the toy. You can also tell them apart by Thelma's beauty mark by her nose! Thelma loves other cats (especially her sister) and would do well in a calm and loving home with other cats or just her sister.
