Gala is a gorgeous black cat who had kittens very young and now that she's done being a mom, she's having fun being a kitten again. She loves wand toys, tiny mice, kickers and zooming around the house. She is very food-motivated and will let you know she's hungry with her tiny meows. She is curious and initiates play with other cats. She's not a lap cat but she purrs and enjoys pets and scratches and is easy to handle. She is shy with new people and wary of loud noises. She would do well in a home with another young, active cat to play with. A KR volunteer rescued Gala from the East Valley Shelter where was red-listed for biting a volunteer, probably because she was still groggy from anesthesia after her spay surgery. She's had no other serious bites since, just playful nibbles on fingers and toes, which her foster mom is redirecting to toys. She's an adorable, active cat and will make a great companion.
