A shelter was holding Keytoz after his owner passed away when KR pulled him. He had a tough time there – but his foster guardian has found that in a home environment, this charming man's nothing but a big squishy sensitive sweetheart. He is easy-going and very friendly to newcomers, be they human or cat. There is photographic proof of Keytoz and the resident cat napping in the same bed with backs touching, and according to his late owner, he was a real snugglebug – all that to say his cuddle potential is high. Keytoz gets his classic tomcat features (i.e. big ol’ burger head) from being a later-in-life neuter. His cheeks will deflate over time but scritching them (and his wrinkly forehead) is forever. Stick to his upper half and you're golden. Despite his lumbering size, he’s light on his feet and has the cutest prance. He’s got quite the playful streak, able to both gently tussle with the resident cat (half his size!) and entertain himself with a toy. Wands, crinkle balls, and springs – all have prompted him to flounce across the room or leap into the air unexpectedly. He’s been spending a lot of time in confined spaces since the shelter, so he deserves to live where he can roam freely. Needless to say, this man loves to see an open door and has an adventurous spirit. Keytoz also loves just as much to see a big plush chair, bed, or blanket to purr on (and to serve up biscuits). Keytoz is rather polite at meal time, watching patiently as you prep while letting out an occasional chirp. Once he starts munching, though, he will get adorably huffy if disturbed. Surprisingly, he will turn away from Churus, but he loves freeze-dried treats. Keytoz is likely still processing the loss of his person, so he would benefit from a lot of attention and gentle affection to help him find joy again. His foster guardian believes that with the right experienced family, he will open up, chill out, and be the loving, happy boy he's been before. Please contact the foster at meganruizg@gmail.com
