Meet Svetlana! Like her namesake (IYKYK), she is gorgeous, sweet, dependable, has fabulous hair, knows EVERYTHING about hockey and, obviously, Russian. She has an incredibly cute little face that scrunches up sometimes like she might be judging you, but she’s not! This friendly young girl had been fending for herself, alone, on the streets of LA when she walked right up into a passerby’s arms and started purring. She was very ready for the pampered and love-filled life she deserves. Svetlana is confident, curious, well-adjusted, and incredibly chill. The concept of “stranger” makes no sense to her since she sees every new person as a potential friend. When she arrived at her foster home she immediately started walking around – no fear or hesitation – like she’d been there for years. She loves to snuggle and to be pet (and her fur is very soft). Each day she’s learning more about play. Her favorite toys are springy coils, plastic balls, and small soft toys to bat and chase. She also loves perching by the window to watch all the goings-on about town. When rescued, Svetlana was small and skinny. But she has steadily gained weight and fluffed out. She will likely remain petite. Due to her younger age, she will do best in a home with another young kitty to be her new best friend and humans who will dote on her.
