Valentina is a gorgeous, petite, kind, affectionate, calm, outgoing girl. Abandoned at The Natural History Museum during the recent rain storms, she let everyone know right away that she was not meant to be an outdoor cat and very much prefers to be inside with humans! She settled into foster care quickly and is friendly with everyone she meets. She is patient and affectionate with children and will politely jump up on to something to get out of reach when she’s had enough. Her name, Valentina, is for the perfect heart marking right on top of her head! She gets the zoomies at night and is obsessed with the automatic laser pointer. She also settles down and likes to sleep on the bed with a human, graciously readjusting when her human moves. Valentina is very athletic and very smart. We’ve been working on getting her to jump on to a shoulder and perch there like a bird! She loves to be held and pet. Like most torties, she does have some strong opinions. She can be a bit reactive (hissing, which is normal) to new cats, but given time to adjust, she gets along with them quite easily. She lives with four younger cats that she tolerates and even sometimes plays with. She would do fine with another cat, or even dog, that would give her space. Or, she would do well in a home by herself. Please contact the foster at rebeccabennettduke@gmail.com
