Foxy and her two kittens had been dumped at one of my four feral colonies in Vernon. I found them on 9/11/25. Foxy is a young mom at 7 mos now. She was found with her two, 5 mos old kittens, huddled behind my feeding station. I had to leave them there that morning as I was headed to work and could not keep them in a hot car. But, I was so worried for their safety, that I raced back on my lunch break to get them. Back at work, I parked in the shade and had the windows rolled down enough for a breeze to flow thru the car, and left them there. I checked on them periodically and found the kittens content nursing off their mom. Foxy is super sweet, mellow and very curious. She loves to investigate everything and is very confident in her surroundings. She curls up on my lap as I relax to watch a little TV before going to bed. I would love to keep her, but being a rescuer and trapper for many years, I know I will continue to find many more cats in need.
