Figgy is a sweet and loving lap girl who loves to be held and will give you all the purrs. A KR volunteer saw her up for adoption at the shelter with a severely damaged eye; where she was hiding and not eating or drinking. She was taken into foster care and started on medication and drops to try to save her eye. After a while it became clear her eye could not be saved and she was taken to the clinic for surgery, where she was found to have a ruptured eye. She felt much better after surgery, and after two weeks had her sutures taken out. Because of this early trauma of being in the shelter and having surgery, she may take a bit to become used to her new home. She may hide at first, because she is shy, but if you show her the love she deserves and get to know her, she will decide she want to roam your house and sleep on your bed. We just ask you show her a little patience after what she has been thorough. She sees perfect with her good eye and will reward you greatly with her love and loyalty.
