Dottie Cakes may seem like a care-free, fluffy little lady in her prime—but she's been through several of her 9 lives. Dottie Cakes was rescued in the burn-zone of the Altadena Fire, over a month after the devastating blaze. Although covered in sticky ash and very underweight—she was otherwise unharmed. After months and months of searching and waiting for her family... she was never claimed and it was time to start a new chapter. She told us her new name was Dottie Cakes and she wanted to find a family with no kids or dogs, she doesn't have patience for that. Dottie Cakes doesn't mind older, mature kitties, but also has no patience for kittens with high energy or bossy personalities. She's ready to live life on HER terms with people who adore her! She's cuddly, a wonderful lap cat with fluffy, thick fur. Dottie Cakes is bold, brave, and very grateful for this second chance.
