Meet Cally – A Tiny Fighter with a Giant Heart Cally’s story began at the LA City Shelter, where she arrived as a fragile newborn in need of a miracle. She became what we lovingly call a “bottle baby”—fed, cleaned, and cared for around the clock by one of our devoted foster volunteers. That early bond made Cally especially affectionate and people-loving—she knows what it means to be nurtured. When she was old enough to eat on her own, she moved to a new foster home. But something wasn’t right. Despite being playful, bright-eyed, and full of purrs, Cally wasn’t gaining weight. Her foster mom watched helplessly as she grew thinner by the day—scared and searching for answers. Thankfully, with some love, persistence, and good veterinary care, we discovered the issue and Cally began to thrive again. And today? She’s a picture of energy, sweetness, and pure kitten joy. Cally loves to play, especially with her best friend Rocky (A-85535). The two of them are a delightful duo—chasing, tumbling, and cuddling their way through every day. We’d love to see them adopted together, or Cally placed in a home with another young, playful cat to keep her company. If you're looking for a kitten with a big personality, a bigger heart, and a story of resilience, Cally is ready to meet you—with Rocky in tow! Please contact the foster at micheleflocker@gmail.com
