Meet Rocky – The Sweetheart with the Full Belly and Full Heart Rocky’s life began at the LA City Shelter, tiny and fragile, needing a little luck and a lot of love. Thankfully, he found both. As a “bottle baby,” Rocky was raised by hand—fed, cuddled, and cleaned around the clock by a dedicated foster mom. That early care gave him a deep love for people. He’s the kind of kitten who melts when you pick him up, leans into your kisses, and happily purrs his way into your heart. He’s also got quite the personality! Rocky is known for always having a little food on his face—probably because he’s never met a meal he didn’t love. With a famously round belly and a big appetite, he’s the champion eater of the foster room. Rocky does have one minor quirk: a weepy eye, likely from a common herpes virus many cats carry. It’s not contagious and doesn’t slow him down at all. We treated it once and it cleared up, but it occasionally comes back. Honestly, Rocky hardly notices—and it certainly doesn’t stop him from being adorable. What Rocky really loves is playing with his best friend, Cally (A-85680). They’re the perfect pair—chasing, cuddling, and curling up together after a long day of kitten adventures. He’s also buddies with Carly (A-8588), so he’s open to a trio or a home with other young cats.
