Tommy is an amazing, especially sweet, friendly, affectionate cat in the prime of life. He is curious yet calm, and very smart. Anyone lucky enough to make Tommy part of his or her family will be blessed with a loving and devoted companion. To Tommy, there is nothing better than following you from room to room. He is also quick to play, snuggle, purr when you pet him, chase toy mice, stretch, and sleep near his family. Occasionally, Tommy will even engage you in a good conversation, especially when it’s time to eat or get a treat. He is very food-motivated and easily trained. He always uses the litter box, every time.
Tommy has beautiful markings. He has a unique black spot around his right eye. His right hip has two black spots in the shape of hearts. He’s a lover! His coat is soft and he’s very good at grooming himself. And then, there are his eyes — his expressive, green eyes. They are gorgeous and shine with all the great warmth and love Tommy has to give.
Late last year when Tommy’s owner passed away he was left at the pound by the family of the late owner. Kitten Rescue rescued him, and then he was adopted by a couple in March of this year. The couple that adopted him found out they were going to have a baby and they returned Tommy to Kitten Rescue in June! There was a stray cat outside their house Tommy wasn’t happy about, and the couple’s original cat started peeing outside the box and they blamed Tommy. None of these were his fault! He did nothing wrong. He lived at the Sanctuary with many cats until he was placed in my foster care in late August. It is time to give Tommy a wonderful forever home he so richly deserves. That home might include another cat, would not include a dog, and might include kids. The BEST scenario for Tommy would be to be the only pet in the family, and the center of attention.
Tommy needs a forever home. How about opening your home and heart to this handsome cat?
