Meet Perla, a courageous little feline with a heart full of hope. Rescued by a kind human at just 5 weeks old from a challenging start on the streets in the care of a homeless person feeding her crackers, Perla encountered another setback when the kind human discovered she was terribly allergic to cats. That’s when Perla’s luck changed. Out of the blue, the kind human ran into a Kitten Rescue staff member who brought the sweet girl to the Sanctuary. Despite her timid demeanor upon arrival at the Sanctuary (it’s all new to her, after all), Perla has shown a playful side that shines through when she’s around water – be it splashing in her bowl or joyfully exploring the sink during running water moments.
Perla has experienced life with big dogs in her time in a home, showing her adaptability to other furry family members and her friendly nature, and she was known to be quite talkative. She may be a bit shy initially, but once she feels safe and loved, Perla will blossom into a chatty, curious companion who’s eager to explore the world with her forever family. If you’re ready to give this brave little soul the loving home she deserves, Perla is waiting to meet you and start her new adventure with open paws.
