Nibbles

Special Needs: Anxiety. Takes fluoxetine 1x day. Gastrointestinal diet.

Nibbles is a friendly, confident, playful and energetic young tuxedo boy with wonderfully soft fur. He loves treats, pouncing on wand toys, running up and down stairs, ball-on track toys, cardboard scratchers and kicking his catnip banana. He is very affectionate, loves to be scratched on the head, and is always interested in licking your hands and feet. He enjoys a good snooze in your lap. He is very calm during car rides. Nibbles was abandoned in a carrier outside the East Valley Shelter and rescued by a KR volunteer. He takes medication for anxiety related aggression. Luckily, he is easy to medicate – he loves pill pockets. Nibbles has a history of biting for attention and from overstimulation and he is still learning that hands and feet are not toys, so an experienced cat owner and a household without children would be best. Nibbles is currently living with two resident cats and it’s clear that he wants to be the king of the house, so he’s best as an only kitty. Nibbles will do well with an owner who gives him lots of attention and playtime and is patient with training. He’s come a long way and will be a fun companion for the right person.
