Desmond

Desmond is an active kitten who likes to play, play, play! He also loves to snuggle-perch right between your shoulder and chin and purr his quiet purr! He enjoys the company of other cats (although many of them find him to be a bit much), wants lots of cuddles every day, and very much hates to be alone (so he will need a kitten friend for when humans aren’t available). He would very much like to be adopted with his foster sister Lucy who is petite but likes to wrestle as hard as he does or one of his bigger, easy going, foster brothers: Brave or Softy. He’s used to children and dogs.

Desmond is would prefer a home with experienced cat people, as he can be shy at times, and an active kitten friend his size. He would enjoy a respectful child who would never chase or try to catch him. Although he is a super-duper cuddle bug, he is very overwhelmed by giant humans when he’s on the ground. He needs continued work building skills (like climbing a tower so he is eye-level with humans when he is feeling worried), and lots of positive experiences being touched while on the ground (and not chased!). He is very (very) food driven, so we’re confident that with time, and getting larger, he will be even more relaxed on the floor.
