Julius was brought to a city pound. He was dehydrated, underweight, and with a severe case of mange, and no doubt he was going to be euthanized. A Kitten Rescue volunteer spotted him there and brought him to the KR Sanctuary. After a dose of medication and fluids, this boy put on 3 pounds in less than a week! His recovery was speedy after that.
He has permanent eye condition called symblapheron, meaning that part of his inner eye is attached to the cornea. This results in a chronic, weepy eye that will need to be monitored. Julius is an alpha male and would prefer to be in a home with a non-alpha kitty or as an only cat. He and another Sanctuary foster available for adoption, Leo, are great play buddies! Julius loves pets and attention from the people around him!
