Todd
Special Needs: Needs a savvy cat parent
Todd was rescued as an adult in the beginning of Feb. 2021 as an adult community cat. He had a couple of very bad bite wounds from fighting and trying to survive a life on the streets. Although he was being fed by a couple of well-meaning humans, he had never been given any medical attention for his wounds, and they had gotten infected and become an abscess. I was able to easily trap him and give him the love and medical care he deserves. His ear and shoulder wound are healing quite nicely, and it is apparent from his demeanor that he could be a very lovely kitty pal for a patient and savvy adopter, who will give him time and attention to become even more comfortable with his surroundings.
Todd loves pets and is quite vocal and chatty with his human. Since he lived on the streets for 5-6 years, he may not be comfortable with dogs, or other cats right off the bat, and will need a slow transition time for any new changes. I will stay involved and help the right adopter make a home for Todd and answer any questions in order to ensure that Todd and his new family are set up for success.
Please look into your heart and see if this scrumptious, chatty boy kitty is the right fit for your home.
