Sophie

I rescued this sweet girl while pet sitting in Pacific Palisades and have been looking for her people for over month with no luck. I need to start looking for a forever home for her since unfortunately no one has come forward.

She is a young female black cat  (Vets thinks around 1 year old) with adorable very white whiskers. She’s around 9 lbs or so.  I have been calling her Sophie.  She needs a home where she can be the only pet (she is afraid of other animals) and an indoor only kitty.  She has been to the vet. She is healthy.

She is still a little wary of new people. Please be aware the first meeting she will likely be quite shy.  She takes a little while to warm up but once she knows you she’s an absolute doll and such a sweet cat who loves to have her belly rubbed and cuddle. She is also very good at night. She lets me sleep and even lets me sleep in when I need to. Please know it may take 3-4 weeks for her to fully warm up and feel safe but with a little patience she will (she has with me). If you can be a little patient it will be well worth it. It doesn’t take long to fall in love with her. Would be best for her to be with someone who is a big cat lover (or animal lover) who has had a pet before and can give her the love and patience she needs to feel safe so she can relax and feel at home. I want her to have the happiest life possible and believe she needs to be the sole pet in a household for that to be possible.
