Sergeant Pepper
Sergeant Pepper is a lovable, sleek kitten who enjoys chasing and jumping for wand “flying” toys. He plays hard but is also a fierce cuddler with a loud motor-purr-engine. His beautiful sleek coat is black with chocolate highlights on his cheeks and a micro spot of white between his shoulder blades. “The Sarge” tends to stay close to his human mom and will cuddle beside her when he’s tired. Due to his age and activity level, it is recommended that Sergeant Pepper be adopted with one of his siblings, another kitten buddy, or to a home with an active companion animal. His best buddy littermates are his two sisters, Dottie and Lilliputian (“Lilli”).
He has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissible to humans. Click here for a basic FAQ about FIV.
He will need to be retested when he is about six months, kittens that test positive when they are babies will often test negative when they get a little bit older.
