Scallop

Rescued from the streets of South Central LA along with his four siblings, little Scallop was bottle fed at the Kitten Rescue nursery from the tender age of 9 days old, before his foster mom scooped him up with his brother, Lobster.  True to his name, Scallop will suction himself onto any willing and warm lap, as his favorite thing in the world is to snuggle.  If his human is ignoring him, he will roll over onto his back, exposing his wildcat-striped belly, which no one could possibly resist rubbing.  Scallop loves to wrestle with his brother and will hop all over the house like a bunny after balls and toys.  Unaware that he is not in fact, a lion attacking live prey, Scallop will carry his toys in his mouth to his favorite places and hide them for later.  He is quite a good eater, standing on his hind legs at the food bowl and scarfing down everything in it before the other kitties get to it.  He then very carefully bathes himself, as any proper gentleman would, and curls up on his human for a nap.  Scallop needs a forever home with a young kitten or cat playmate, and would love to go to a home with his best friend and brother, Lobster.
