Roofus
Roofus is a friendly boy that was living with a group of feral cats at a business in Burbank. His foster mom was one of the feeders there and he would meet her at the car when she pulled up each time. He would rub on her legs while meowing and eventually would let her pick him up and cuddle him. After a while, it seemed cruel to leave him there where he had to fight for his food with other cats and a big family of raccoons, so foster mom decided to bring him home with her in April 2022.
Not much is known about Roofus’ former life on the streets. He had already been neutered and eartipped. He may have been a pet someone dumped or lost, but he is definitely enjoying the indoor life now. He is estimated to be between 3 to 6 years old as of 2022. Currently, he lives with multiple other resident cats, foster kittens, and an elderly chihuahua. He is on the shy side but eventually came out of his shell and is now an accepted member of the group. He is a very well-behaved boy – he took to the litter box right away, doesn’t get into things, doesn’t jump onto the counters or places he shouldn’t be. He loves to be petted, likes belly rubs, and meows sweetly when his bowl is empty. He doesn’t seem interested in toys but likes to watch the other cats play.
Roofus would love to be in a home with another cat. He is not a high energy guy and mostly likes to lay around and be loved on. He is a total sweetheart with the most beautiful green eyes who seems very grateful for his new indoor comforts. He doesn’t ask for much, he is just happy to be here.
