Robin in the Rain
Robin in the Rain (named for the Raffi song) was found by his foster parents when he was roughly 3-4 months old, roaming in the shrubbery outside of their apartment. His sister was trapped first, and Robin a few days later. The day that Robin was caught, his sister was in a temporary enclosure outside on a patio, and they were found meowing piteously to each other from opposite sides of a fence. Robin was then immediately distracted by the food in the trap and captured.
Robin is outgoing and active, and incredibly soft and fluffy. He’s very curious and will follow us around and beep to alert us that he’s hungry or wants attention. He sometimes starts purring when he’s eating, and will also purr like a motor when he’s being pet. One of the gray splotches on his back looks like a heart! He eats faster than his sister and will try and steal her food after he’s done with his. He spends a lot of time chasing around his sister, the other resident cats, and toys. He is very silly and very talkative!
Robin used to be a feral kitten, and would do best in a quiet home. He and his sister have been living with two other resident cats and have been very friendly towards them. While he is initially quite shy with strangers, with some patience, love, and treats, his bright personality shines through.
