Ranger

Ranger is a sweet boy who rescued from the shelter last year and he has been patiently waiting for the right home. He loves to play with kittens and is a gentle boy. He is FIV positive which is no big deal and he can be around other cats as he is very mellow and won’t fight.

Ranger has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissable to humans. Click here for a basic FAQ about FIV. If you’d like to read a much more detailed and comprehensive FAQ about FIV, we recommend this site.

IS ALSO:
Spayed/Neutered - Vaccinated - Dewormed - Treated for Fleas
Tested for FeLV and FIV (cats and kittens only) - Microchipped

PLEASE NOTE:
Kitten Rescue is located in Los Angeles, CA and we only adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
