Pitstop

If you are looking for a handsome, active, cuddly weirdo to spice up your life, you’ve come to the right place because I’ve got a handsome, active, cuddly weirdo for you! His name is Pitstop, and we rescued him as a young kitten off the streets of Van Nuys. He spent some of his youth in the Kitten Rescue Adoption Center but kept getting sent home to foster care because he had chronic sniffles and the other kitties got tired of being sneezed one. Then things got a wee bit more dire when he was diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) at the end of January 2021. This disease is fatal 100% of the time unless you can get your hands on an unlicensed experimental treatment not available for sale anywhere in the U.S. Luckily, Kitten Rescue was able to score some, and after ten weeks of treatment Pitstop was cured! Now he’s back to his exuberant self ready for a forever home.

Pitstop is extremely social, and loves to sit on people’s laps or on their legs while you’re asleep. He is mostly good with other cats; being an rambunctious teenager, he does best with cats who are confident and have the energy to engage in rough & tumble play. He can be a bit of a bully to passive, less confident cats. He lives in a house with two large dogs and while he doesn’t really engage with them, he manages to peacefully coexist. Amongst his more endearing traits is his administering of high fives and love nibbles, not always in that order.

Spayed/Neutered - Vaccinated - Dewormed - Treated for Fleas
