Panther

What other name could such a sleek and silky guy have? But this is no ferocious wild animal…in fact, this panther is a total lovebug and sweetheart! He enjoys pets, head scratches and curling up next to his foster mom. He also likes to play and just generally be cute. He was trapped on the street, but is way too friendly to live that way. This guy was born to be a pet and beloved member of the family. One vet thought he was 8-9 months old and another vet thought he was 2 years old….his foster mom thinks they are both wrong and that he is about 1 year old. Panther is FIV+ but is in great health and is super friendly so living with another cat (he likes them!) shouldn’t be a problem. He could also be an only cat as long as you give him lots of love and attention. He is untested with dogs and kids but is a fairly low maintenance guy and could probably get along with either if properly introduced. Please consider this special, handsome dude….you will not be sorry!

FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissable to humans.
