Lucy has the loudest purrs you have ever heard and loves to play with and groom the resident cats in her foster home. Lucy also loves to watch TV with her foster parents and get her head scratched. She whirs around the house on her three good legs, and you’d hardly even notice she is missing a back paw. She is still able to put her weight on the leg even though it is missing the paw. Lucy is mostly blind in one eye due to an infection she had as a tiny kitten before she was taken in by Kitten Rescue. It doesn’t cause her much trouble as she has great vision out of her other eye. Lucy loves toys that she can chew on or chase, and she loves to guard you while you take baths to make sure you are OK. Lucy has a strong preference for clay style litter over pellet style litter, and is fully litter trained with no issues with clay litter. We would love for her to be adopted by a family with another playful cat or kitten, or who is open to adopting two animals because Lucy enjoys her cat friendships so much. She gets along well with our one year old cats and our senior cat. We are also requiring that her future family doesn’t mind giving her eye drops occasionally as the damage to her eyes means that she may be prone to more eye infections than the average cat. It’s really easy to give her antibiotic drops if she needs them, and trust us – she is worth it.
