Lapis

Say hello to Lapis! Lapis is a complex boy. He’s shy and skittish when he’s uncomfortable or new people come around, and he doesn’t like to play with the big cat often because he knows he’ll lose. When he gets used to a space, both his mischievousness and his sweetness emerge. Lapis likes to talk in short bursts – like he’s telling you about his day when you get back from work. He’s a cuddler and purrs when you nap together, though he likes to be a few feet away most of the time. Lapis will follow you around the house, silently watching over you, but if you stop by the kitchen expect him to ask for a snack. He adores his sister, Opal. They play all day, groom each other and will run around your ankles at lunch time. They would best be adopted together. He’s very social but he tends to follow after his sister. She enables him and brings him comfort, so he’ll get used to a new home much faster with her around!
