Harper

Harper is a beautiful blue point, blue eyed girl.  It is uncertain if she is a Siamese mix, but she definitely has the coat mutation that gives her the color point typical seen in Siamese.  Her blue eyes are also slightly crossed that is sometime seen in Siamese as well.  Harper is deemed “semi-feral” because humans can’t initiate physical contact with her (at least without food or toys).  She will tolerate some petting when she’s eating or getting treats.  Other times, if a finger or hand is held out steadily and quietly, she will sniff or nose touch when she’s in the mood.  Most of the time she’ll just back away from you.

Harper was trapped with her brother, Will (please see Will’s bio for more information).  They both have similar temperament toward humans. Neither Harper nor Will will growl, hiss or swat at humans unless they are cornered.  They will lounge openly on your bed, cat tree or furniture and watch you intently as you come into their view.   Sometimes at night they will even quietly snuggle up on one corner of the bed with you.  Harper can be adopted to a household with another tolerant cat or with her brother.  However, the adopter must be an experienced cat person who knows and understands “semi-feral” personality.  Both Harper and Will are very food and play driven.  If their human is willing to put in the time and effort, Harper and Will will definitely bond with the person (on their terms).
