Ginger was given to a KR foster by lady whose cat had kittens in her backyard. Ginger was quick to jump into my arms and purr. She is a gentle, humble, and extremely sweet kitten. She gets along well with other cats and is used to friendly dogs. Ginger will sleep on the bed with you and hope for morning cuddles. She loves to stretch out and watch TV with you.
Ginger tested positive for FIV but because her Mom had it, should be tested again in six months. She is healthy and safe being around other cats. She is 100% healthy. She would be fine in a home as an only kitten, with other cats, or with a friendly dogs.
She has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissable to humans.
