George and Lyla

George and Lyla were rescued from a garage during Tropical Storm Hilary when they were just under 4 weeks old.

While initially wary of people, George quickly warmed up to his foster parents and has become such a sweetheart. Once he felt at ease in his foster home, he became quite an adventurer, and insisted on being able to explore every inch of his new home. He always wants to be where the action is happening, and often follows his foster mom around from room-to-room demanding attention. He loves pets and snuggles and will even climb up on your shoulder to sit. Don’t let his proper attire fool you- he is a playful and goofy kitten and is always eager to play. His favorite playmate is his sister, Lyla.

Lyla is calm and affectionate. While she loves to play, she also loves to snuggle, and chin scratches have become her absolute favorite. When it comes to new experiences, she often lets her brother test the waters first, and then joins in and has a blast exploring with him. Lyla is very vocal and will let you know when she wants to be let out to play and when she is hungry. She generally is more laid back, but the second Churu sticks come out she forgets she is a housecat and thinks she is a lion on the savanna. She absolutely adores her brother, and she can’t wait to find a home with her best friend.
