Fern

Fern is a gorgeous, sweet tabby girl with so much love to give. She is a true lap cat with no aggressive bone in her body. Once you’ve earned her trust, she will be by your side for always. She loves tiki cat stix and greenies cat treats, the fastest way to her heart. She’s not much for playing but occasionally likes a good string toy, or a cat nip mouse. Really all she wants is to fall asleep on your lap (or chest). A true lap cat.

Fern is also a very sensitive cat and needs to be in a quiet home with someone who can be around often to manage her separation anxiety. She has a history of FIC aggravated by stress, and needs someone who is patient and willing to give her plenty of love and care to manage her flare-ups.

While she has lived with other cats and even a dog, she is easily stressed out by other animals, and would flourish as an only cat. The right person for Fern will be at home often, and will continue her care routine which includes a prescription diet and daily medication (kitty prozac to manage her anxiety).

If you are retired or an empty nester and are looking for a new best friend to occupy your time and heart, this purring machine of a cat is the one for you. Give her your love and she will look at you like you make the sun rise.

The right fit will be provided with a cat tree, cat carrier, first month of prescription food, first 2 months of meds, and some toys.
