Ellie and Sheldon

Ellie and Sheldon are beautiful Siamese siblings who were with the same loving cat-parents since they were 8 weeks old.  But their mom became very ill and was no longer able to care for them, and with great regret she and her husband had to let them be rehomed, with the promise that they stay together forever.  As anyone can see from their photos, they are extremely bonded, and have been their whole lives.

 

Sheldon is a BIG boy — twenty pounds, to be exact.  He’s got a long, handsome face and very much resembles a mountain lion.  But he’s anything but fierce.  This boy is the classic Gentle Giant, with a heart of gold.  He’s a sweet, big lump of a cat who wants nothing but love and pets.  As his former mom wrote, “Sheldon is a lover boy, a real Romeo — soooo sweet, and very playful!  I suffered from a serious stomach issue a few years ago and spent a lot of time in bed in pain.  Sheldon somehow knew that I was in pain and would lie on my lower tummy and purr quietly. If I were on my side he would snuggle up next to my tummy.  And Ellie would lie at my feet.  The two of them were very healing to me, but Sheldon was like a intuitive who knew just what I needed.  He’s an angel in a cat body.”

 

Sheldon’s sister Ellie is no feather-weight herself, at sixteen pounds.  She’s a real arm-full of soft, luscious, furry warmth.  And on top of her cuddliness, Ellie is a character — not at all shy, like her brother.  She has a well developed sense of adventure, and loves to be around her humans.  She’s a real chatter box, too, and always seems to have a lot to say.  She and her former cat-dad would have entire “conversations“ together.  She would not stop meowing and walking around his legs, purring and talking until he would pick her up and cradle her in his arms like a baby and tickle her tummy.  She’s super affectionate and engaged.

 

Additional information given by these beautiful cats’ former humans is as follows:  They both love to sit on a window sill in the warm sun and watch the hummingbirds and butterflies.  Ellie and Sheldon are sweet, very well behaved and trained. They have never been destructive. They only scratch their posts. They have impeccable litter box habits, and they’re just all-around good cats.
